Help Penn Go for the Gold in the AlumPics
A Fun Alumni Engagement Competition to Celebrate the Olympics
Eight of the ten Ivy
Plus Alumni Relations offices (the seven Ivy League institutions, as well as
Stanford) are competing with each other in the AlumPics challenge.
Since July 30 and going for 10 days, Penn has been posting
one photo a day on the University’s Facebook page that represents some aspect
of Penn as part of the AlumPics challenge in topics ranging from reunions to
school pride, traditions to athletics. Show your Penn pride by liking those
photos every day! The more “likes” we get on each of those pictures, the closer
we move toward a gold medal and the championship.
Get ready to show your true Red and Blue spirit by voting
and helping to spread the word about the contest. We want to show that Penn
deserves the gold! The number of
“likes” will be counted - starting at 11:00am EDT to 10:59am the next day to
determine the day’s winner - with the most likes receiving a gold medal.
Similar to the athletes preparing for the Olympics, competitors need to
practice, so go to https://www.facebook.com/UnivPennsylvania and like the photo
with the header "AlumPics" to help us with our challenge. Feel free
to add some positive commentary on the photo as well.
Each day will feature a new photo to like, so be sure to
become a Fan of the Penn facebook page, and follow @Pennalumni on twitter for
the unique link each day to vote on the appropriate photo.
Let’s Go Quakers!
