IvyPlus Jazzin' at the Shedd
Come hang out with other IvyPlus alumni on the North Terrace of the Shedd Aquarium to listen to some of Chicago's best jazz! Thursday, August 20th, the Greg Duncan Quintet will be playing at the North Terrace location. Trumpeter Greg Duncan has developed one of the best jazz groups in the city since his arrival in 2004. Known for their solid swing feel and edgy groove, the Greg Duncan Quintet released their debut CD in 2007 on the OA2 record label. The recording, Unveiled, received high praise from Chicago Jazz magazine for its hip compositions and solid musicianship.
